Thank you for helping us make a difference in schools, in our communities and in the lives of students across the country through your support of the Fuel Up to Play 60 program! I want to take a moment to reflect on the difference your hard work has made in helping us create a healthier school environment that promotes student wellness, learning and achievement.

Through Fuel Up to Play 60, students at our school have an exciting outlet to get involved in their own wellness, and I have seen firsthand how the program makes healthy food choices and physical activity more accessible. The positive changes we’ve observed wouldn’t be possible without your hard work and dedication. Personally, I have had many incredible opportunities such as speaking at the NFL combine and going to the Land ‘O Lakes headquarters to talk with their CEO, Chris Policinski. I have learned so many important skills that have impacted my life immensely and will continue to do so as I move on to college.

I’m so appreciative of the active role local dairy farms, like yours, have taken by sponsoring and promoting this great program for our students. Not only has your support helped me through all of the ways the Fuel Up to Play 60 program has affected me, but I have learned so much about dairy farmers and agriculture across the nation, as well. Visiting dairy farms during the Fuel Up to Play 60 national summit showed me more about the work dairy farmers like yourself do everyday and has really made me think and appreciate how my food gets from your farm to my dinner table. I have also been amazed by the usage of technology in farms and have done more to learn about farming since my experiences at the summit. Having local dairy farmers be involved in this program as shown me how much dairy farmers do and care about student wellness.

Your commitment to building a healthy, high-achieving generation of youth means the world to us, and we’re grateful for all that you do to help our Fuel Up to Play 60 team #FuelGreatness!

Sincerely,

Abby Evans
