Buttercream Chocolate Ganache Frosting

Ingredients

4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar

3/4 cup salted butter

1 tbsp vanilla

34 tbsp heavy cream

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

Directions

  • Cream sugar and butter until smooth.
  • Add in vanilla and 3-4 tbsps of heavy cream.
  • In a separate bowl, melt dark chocolate.
  • Blend with 1 1/2 cups of cooled heavy cream that has been brought to a low boil.
  • Cool and add to buttercream frosting (You may not need entire batch of ganache)
  • Add chocolate to your taste.
  • Whip frosting until light and airy.
