“Refuel with Milk” School Athletic Grant Application
Open through November 22, 2022
American Dairy Association Indiana is supporting Indiana school-based youth athletics with grant funding of up to $2,200 to purchase a cooler to keep milk cold and readily available after student workouts.
Experts agree that the body requires immediate fuel to recover and rehydrate during the first 30 minutes after a workout. Low-fat chocolate milk is nature’s recovery drink for athletes, with a perfect mix of carbs and protein to rebuild muscles and restore fluid and electrolyte loss. A partnership between food service and athletics will be important to continue supporting student athletes with this program.
