4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
¾ cup salted butter
1 tbsp vanilla
34 tbsp heavy cream
1 lb high quality dark chocolate
1 ½ cups heavy cream

Cream sugar and butter until smooth.

Add in vanilla and 3-4 tbsps of heavy cream.

In a separate bowl, melt dark chocolate.

Blend with 1 1/2 cups of cooled heavy cream that has been brought to a low boil.

Cool and add to buttercream frosting (You may not need entire batch of ganache)

Add chocolate to your taste.

Whip frosting until light and airy.
