Cream Cheese Danish Bars

Ingredients

28 oz tubes of crescent rolls

28 oz pkgs of cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup plus 3 tablespoons sugar, divided

1 egg, separated

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Spray a 9x13 in pan with a non-stick spray.
  • Roll out one tube of crescent rolls in the bottom of your pan and press the seams together.
  • Mix together your cream cheese, 3/4 of a cup of sugar, egg yolk and vanilla.
  • Spread mixture over the bottom layer of crescent rolls.
  • Unroll second tube of crescent rolls and place on top of mixture.
  • Coat with egg white and sprinkle with remaining sugar.
  • Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
  • Let it set out and cool for 10-15 minutes.
  • Cut the Easy Cream Cheese Danish into bars and serve.
