Third graders at Prairie Trace Elementary want to wish our Indiana Dairy Farmers
a very Happy Valentine’s Day!
After learning about healthy eating habits and making good choices in the cafeteria, students watched Jenna Kelsay’s Disney Citizen Kid Video to learn more about where milk comes from—the same milk that is available to them in the cafeteria each and every day.
Students then composed Valentine’s Day messages to our dairy farmers– thanking them for their hard work and providing them with nutritious dairy foods. Check out a few of my favorites below:
