Spoon potato mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
Make the topping by mixing the melted butter into the crushed corn flakes.
Sprinkle topping over potato mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
Casserole may be refrigerated until ready to bake or divided and froze if desired.
