Cris from GOODEness Gracious and Recipe That Crock here. I am so excited to share this recipe with you. This is one of those dishes that Miss Add (my 6 year old) and I like to make together– especially when we find out we are on our own for dinner. Comfort food at its finest ;). Now I love me a decadent baked version of Mac and Cheese with heavy cream, butter, egg and cheese, but my girl is more of an easy mac kind of kid… except for when Mommy makes Mac and Cheese “with bubbles”– her way of saying homemade. And, lucky for me, I have a super easy way trick to whipping up a bowl of Mac and Cheese “with bubbles” in no time flat. I use Kraft Singles. Now, you don’t have to use the Kraft brand by any means– that was just my easy way of saying individually wrapped cheese slices. I love this recipe because I always have the ingredients on hand and it is so simple to throw together. All you do is boil up your macaroni either on the stove or in a microwave pasta cooker (my preference), drain and add in your cheese and then milk. Easy peasy! Shared on Weekend Potluck.
