Dorm Room Cheesy Potato Soup

 1 (32 oz) bag of frozen hashbrowns (chunk style, not sliced)
 1 (32 oz) box of chicken broth (low sodium can be used)
 10 oz (1 can) cream of chicken soup
 3 oz bacon bits (reserve some for garnish)
 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (reserve some for garnish)
 Salt and pepper to taste

Put hashbrowns in slow cooker and add chicken broth, soup, and bacon bits.

Cook on low for 7-8 hours.

After cooking, add cream cheese and shredded cheese.
