Ingredients
 2 cups sugar
 1 tbsp cornstarch
  tsp salt
 4 eggs
 2 egg yolks
 3 cups heavy whipping cream
 3 cups half and half
 2 tsp vanilla
Directions

Mix sugar, cornstarch, eggs, and egg yolks. Beat until light yellow.

Add heavy cream and cook to 160 degrees on candy thermometer.

Add half and half and vanilla. Chill.

Strain into freezer can and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.
